 UNNGO PeaceeverTV According to the UN video news reprint report : January 27 2022 is the International Day of Commemoration, United Nations Department of Global Communications organized the Memorial Ceremony. Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications Ms.Melissa Fleming presided over the commemorative ceremony.  Memorial Ceremony marking the 2022 International Day of Commemoration in memory of the victims of the Holocaust.
The Holocaust memorial ceremony held this year under the theme "Memory, Dignity and Justice", it is  include remarks by the United Nations Secretary-General, as well as statements by high-level guests,Mr.Abdulla Shahid President of the 76th session of the UNGA, Ambassador Gilad Erdan Israel, Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield United States Permanent Representative to the United Nations, and the testimonies from the Holocaust survivors from Canada, Israel, South Africa and the United States, and children and grandchildren of Jewish and Romani Holocaust survivors. Holocaust scholar and philosopher, Professor John K. Roth deliver the keynote address.  Mr. Pinchas Zukerman and Mr. Shai Wosner perform a musical piece. Cantor Daniel Mendelson, Congregation Kol Ami, New York recite memorial prayers.

The Holocaust and the United Nations Outreach Programme was established 15 years ago by United Nations General Assembly Resolution 60/7, with a simple and stark aim: to remind the world of the perspective that the Holocaust provides relevant to preventing future genocides. Over the years the Programme has established a global network of partners and developed versatile initiatives including educational resources, professional development programmes, a file series, panel discussions and exhibitions.
